The Advanced Energy CoolX1000 series, including the CX10S model, is a fanless, intelligent 1000 W modular power supply. Packaged in a compact U-channel design measuring 259.5 mm x 164 mm x 40.6 mm, it provides full power without requiring fan or base plate cooling. This design eliminates acoustic noise, making it suitable for scientific, medical, and vibration-sensitive applications.
The CX10S offers 1000W of power with 93% efficiency and operates within a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C. It features multiple outputs, adjustable output, PMBus™ monitoring and control, remote sense, standby output, and universal input. The power supply is certified to medical standards like IEC60601-1 and IEC60601-1-2, as well as industrial standards IEC60950 and IEC62368-1. It also meets SEMI F47 and MIL-STD-810G requirements.
Designed for ITE (Commercial) and Medical applications, this power supply has a chassis mount type. Its reliability is indicated by an MTBF of over 2,900,000 hours and includes high-input surge protection up to 4 kV line to PE. The unit comes with a five-year warranty.
