The Advanced Energy CoolX1000 series, specifically the CX10S model, is a fanless, intelligent 1000W modular power supply. Packaged in a compact U-channel design measuring 259.5 mm x 164 mm x 40.6 mm, it provides high power output without requiring fan or base plate cooling, making it ideal for applications sensitive to acoustic noise or vibration.

This power supply features 100% natural convection cooling and offers a high efficiency of 93%. It supports universal input voltage and provides multiple outputs, including a primary 24V output at 8.3A. Key features include adjustable output, PMBus™ monitoring and control capability, remote sense, standby output, and high-input surge protection up to 4 kV line to PE.

The CX10S is certified for medical and industrial applications, meeting standards such as IEC60601-1, IEC60601-1-2, IEC60950, and IEC62368-1. It is also compliant with SEMI F47 at input voltages above 180 VAC and rated for operation up to 5000 m altitude. The operating temperature range is -40°C to 85°C, with an MTBF exceeding 2,900,000 hours.

Designed for flexibility, it supports field-configurable plug-and-play power, series and parallel output configurations for higher voltages or currents, and various mounting options including base, side, and DIN-Rail mounting.
