The Advanced Energy CoolX1000 series, including the CX10S model, provides a fanless 1000W modular power supply solution. This U-channel design measures 259.5 mm x 164 mm x 40.6 mm, eliminating acoustic noise and vibration, making it suitable for sensitive scientific and medical applications.
The CX10S offers 100% natural convection cooling without requiring a base plate. It features 93% efficiency and a high MTBF of over 2,900,000 hours. The power supply is designed for harsh environments with 4 kV line to PE surge protection and reverse energy protection.
Flexibility is enhanced with analog and digital PMBus™ monitoring and control capabilities. It supports adjustable output, remote sense, standby output, and universal input. The unit is certified to IEC60601-1, IEC60601-1-2 (EMC), IEC60950, and IEC62368-1 standards, along with SEMI F47 compliance and MIL-STD-810G for defense/aero applications. It is approved for use at altitudes up to 5000 meters.
