The Advanced Energy CoolX1000 series, including the CX10S model, represents a 1000W fanless modular power supply. This U-channel design measures 259.5 mm x 164 mm x 40.6 mm, providing high power output without the need for fan or base plate cooling. This makes it ideal for applications sensitive to acoustic noise or vibration, such as scientific and medical equipment.
The CX10S offers flexibility with analog and digital communications via PMBus™ for monitoring and control. It features adjustable output, remote sense, standby output, and universal input, with a typical efficiency of 93%. The power supply is approved for use up to 5000 m altitude and meets various safety standards including IEC60601-1, IEC60950, and IEC62368-1.
Key reliability features include an MTBF greater than 2,900,000 hours and high-input surge protection up to 4 kV. The unit is designed for chassis mounting and is suitable for ITE (Commercial) and Medical applications. It also complies with RoHS3 standards.
