The Advanced Energy CoolX1000 series, specifically the CX10S model, is a fanless, intelligent 1000W modular power supply. Packaged in a compact U-channel design measuring 259.5 mm x 164 mm x 40.6 mm, it provides full power without requiring fan or base plate cooling, making it ideal for noise-sensitive environments.

This power supply features a 48V output with a 15A current rating and achieves up to 93% efficiency. It supports universal input and offers features such as adjustable output, PMBus™ monitoring and control, remote sense, and a standby output. The CX10S is designed for reliability with an MTBF greater than 2,900,000 hours and high-input surge protection.

Compliance includes standards for ITE (Commercial) and Medical applications, such as IEC60601-1, IEC60601-1-2, IEC60950-1, and IEC62368-1. It is also rated for operation up to 5000m altitude and has an operating temperature range of -40°C to 85°C.

Mounting is via chassis mount, and the unit has 6 outputs. Its fanless design eliminates acoustic noise and vibrations, making it suitable for scientific, medical, and other sensitive applications where fan cooling is not available or desirable.
