The Advanced Energy CoolX®1000 series, including the CX10S model, represents the world's only fanless 1000W modular power supply. This U-channel design delivers up to 1000W without requiring fan or base plate cooling, making it ideal for environments where acoustic noise is detrimental, such as scientific and medical applications, or where fan cooling is not feasible.

The CX10S offers flexibility with analog and digital communications via PMBus™ for monitoring and control. It meets stringent medical and industrial standards, including IEC60601-1 3rd edition, IEC60601-1-2 4th edition (EMC), IEC60950, and IEC62368-1. The unit boasts high reliability with an MTBF greater than 2,900,000 hours and features high-input surge protection up to 4 kV line to PE.

Packaged in a compact 259.5 mm x 164 mm x 40.6 mm (10 in x 6.5 in x 1U) chassis, this converter is suitable for chassis mounting. Its design ensures 100% natural convection cooling, eliminating acoustic noise and vibrations.
