The Advanced Energy CoolX1000 series, specifically the CX10S model, is a fanless, intelligent 1000W modular power supply. Packaged in a compact U-channel design measuring 259.5 mm x 164 mm x 40.6 mm, it provides high power output without the need for fan or base plate cooling. This design eliminates acoustic noise and vibrations, making it suitable for sensitive scientific, medical, and industrial applications.

This AC/DC converter features a 1000W power rating and 93% efficiency. It has a 24V output voltage and a maximum current of 21A, with six outputs available. The operating temperature range is from -40°C to 85°C. It supports adjustable output, PMBus™ monitoring and control, remote sense, and a standby output.

Designed for reliability, the CX10S boasts an MTBF of over 2,900,000 hours and high-input surge protection up to 4 kV. It is safety approved for operation up to 5000m altitude. The unit is certified to medical standards like IEC60601-1 and IEC60601-1-2, as well as industrial standards IEC60950 and IEC62368-1. It is also SEMI F47 compliant.

Mounting is via chassis mount. The converter is suitable for ITE (Commercial) and Medical applications, including clinical diagnostic equipment, medical lasers, and radiological imaging.
