The Bourns CV201210-R22K is a shielded ferrite multilayer chip inductor part of the CV201210 series. It offers an inductance of 220 nH with ±10% tolerance and a minimum Q factor of 20 at 25 MHz. The self-resonant frequency is minimum 170 MHz, and the DC resistance is maximum 500 mOhm, with a rated current of 250 mA (temperature rise limited to 30°C).
Designed for surface mount assembly in 0805 (2012 Metric) package, this inductor features magnetic shielding to minimize electromagnetic interference. It is suitable for DC-DC converter filtering, signal line noise suppression, and secondary side EMI prevention in electronic equipment. The ferrite core material ensures stable performance over the operating temperature range of -55°C to 125°C.
Packaging is Tape & Reel for automated pick-and-place. Soldering conditions include reflow at 230°C max for 50 seconds and resistance to soldering heat at 260°C for 10 seconds. Note that the datasheet indicates a height as low as 0.85 mm, which conflicts with the 1.05 mm maximum listed in the database.
