The Comchip Technology CTAN1424V-G is a Zener-type bidirectional TVS diode designed for transient voltage suppression in general purpose applications. It provides 5 channels of bidirectional protection with a reverse standoff voltage of 24V and a typical clamping voltage of 43V at 1A (8/20µS pulse). The device features a minimum reverse breakdown voltage of 26.7V at 1mA and a maximum peak pulse current rating of 5A (8/20µS), handling up to 300W of peak pulse power.
This surface mount TVS diode is offered in a 14-SOIC (0.154", 3.90mm width) package with a supplier device package of 14-SOIC. Typical capacitance is 50pF at 1MHz.
