The CSPEMI400G from On Semiconductor is a three-channel low pass RC (Pi) EMI filter array with integrated ESD protection, designed for data lines in mobile devices. It integrates three pi filters (C−R−C) with component values of 20pF − 47Ω − 20pF and 20pF − 100Ω − 20pF, providing cutoff frequencies of 77MHz and 85MHz respectively. The device also includes two additional ESD-only channels.
ESD protection is provided by avalanche-type diodes on every pin, safely dissipating contact discharges of ±10 kV per IEC 61000-4-2 and ±25 kV per Human Body Model (MIL-STD-883 Method 3015). The filter offers 30dB attenuation at 1GHz, making it suitable for suppressing high-frequency noise.
