The CSFB204-G is a super fast recovery rectifier diode designed for surface-mount applications. It offers a maximum repetitive peak reverse voltage of 400V and an average forward current rating of 2A. The device features a fast reverse recovery time of 35ns, making it suitable for high-frequency switching circuits.
Electrical characteristics include a maximum forward voltage of 1.25V at 2A and a peak forward surge current of 50A (8.3ms single half sine-wave). Reverse leakage current is 5µA at 25°C and 350µA at 125°C. The junction-to-lead thermal resistance is 20°C/W when mounted on a PCB with an 8.0×8.0mm copper pad.
The diode is housed in a JEDEC DO-214AA (SMB) molded plastic package with solderable terminals per MIL-STD-750, method 2026. Polarity is indicated by a color band on the cathode end. The component weighs approximately 0.093 grams and operates over a junction temperature range of -55°C to +150°C.
