The CSD18563Q5A is a 60V N-Channel NexFET power MOSFET from Texas Instruments, designed for high-efficiency power conversion. It offers ultra-low gate charge (Qg typical 15nC) and gate-to-drain charge (Qgd typical 2.9nC) for reduced switching losses. The device features a maximum drain-to-source voltage of 60V and continuous drain current of 100A (package limited) or 93A (silicon limited at TC=25°C). On-resistance is 6.8mΩ maximum at VGS=10V and 10.8mΩ maximum at VGS=4.5V, enabling logic level operation. The MOSFET is avalanche rated with typical EAS of 146mJ.
This MOSFET is optimized as a low-side synchronous FET for industrial buck converters, secondary side synchronous rectifiers, and motor control applications. It is housed in a compact 8-VSONP (5x6) surface mount package with low thermal resistance (3.2W at TA=25°C, 116W at TC=25°C). The device is RoHS compliant, halogen free, and has Pb-free terminal plating. Operating junction temperature range is -55°C to 150°C.
