The Powerex CS240650 is a fast recovery single diode module rated for 600V peak reverse blocking voltage and 50A DC current. It features a maximum peak one-cycle surge current of 1000A at 60Hz and an I2t rating of 4165 A²s for fusing. The module offers a reverse recovery time of 0.8 µs and a reverse recovery charge of 30 µC, making it suitable for high-speed switching applications.
Designed for chassis mounting, the POW-R-BLOK module provides isolated mounting for easy integration with common heatsinks. The junction-to-case thermal resistance is 0.6 °C/W, and the operating junction temperature range is -40 to 150 °C. The module is UL recognized.
Typical applications include inverters, choppers, switching power supplies, and free-wheeling circuits. The module weight is 90 g.
