The Littelfuse CR3403AB is a bidirectional SIDAC (Silicon Bilateral Overvoltage Device) designed for overvoltage protection. It features a reverse stand-off voltage of 300V and a maximum breakdown voltage of 400V. Reverse leakage current is 5 µA maximum, ensuring low power loss.
This device handles high surge currents: 100A for a 10/560 µs waveform and 150A for a 10/160 µs waveform. It operates over -55°C to 175°C, suitable for harsh environments. The glass passivated junction provides reliability and low capacitance.
The CR3403AB is housed in a through-hole TO-220 modified package (3-SIP form factor) for easy PCB mounting. Power line protection is not supported, so it is intended for signal line applications.
