The CPDT5-5V0U is a surface-mount ESD protection diode from Comchip Technology, designed for general-purpose circuit protection. It features four unidirectional TVS channels with a typical reverse standoff voltage of 5 V and a clamping voltage of 10 V at a peak pulse current of 8 A (8/20 µs waveform). The device provides 80 W peak pulse power and meets IEC 61000-4-2 ESD protection levels of 8 kV contact and 15 kV air discharge.
This diode is housed in a compact SOT-23-5 package (SC-74A, SOT-753) with tin-plated terminals and molded plastic case, suitable for automated surface-mount assembly. It operates over a temperature range of -55°C to +125°C and can be stored from -55°C to +150°C.
