The CPDERT5V0 is a bi-directional ESD protection diode from Comchip Technology, designed to safeguard sensitive electronics from electrostatic discharge and transient voltage events. It features a breakdown voltage range of 5.1V to 7.0V (at 1mA) and a clamping voltage of 15V at a peak pulse current of 5A (8/20µs waveform), with a peak pulse power rating of 75W.
This device is qualified to IEC 61000-4-2 standards for ESD protection, offering 16kV air discharge and 8kV contact discharge capability. It exhibits very low leakage current (max 2.0µA at 5V) and a junction capacitance of 15pF at 1MHz, making it suitable for high-speed signal lines.
