The CPDER24V is a bidirectional Transient Voltage Suppression (TVS) diode designed for ESD protection in general-purpose applications. It features a Zener-type clamping device with a reverse standoff voltage of 24V and a breakdown voltage range of 25V to 28V. Under a 1A peak pulse current (8/20µs waveform), the clamping voltage is typically 47V. The device offers a peak pulse power rating of 47W and a maximum leakage current of 2µA at the standoff voltage.
The low junction capacitance of 10pF at 1MHz ensures minimal signal distortion, making it suitable for high-speed data lines. The CPDER24V meets IEC 61000-4-2 ESD requirements with 16kV contact and 8kV air discharge capability. The operating temperature range is -55°C to 150°C, with a storage range of -55°C to 125°C.
Packaged in a compact 0503 (1308 Metric) surface-mount package (SOD-723F), the device weighs approximately 0.002 grams and features gold-plated terminals. The small footprint enables high-density PCB layouts. The marking code for this variant is E24, as per the datasheet for the CPDER24V-HF series.
