The light booth is an important piece of equipment in the printing industry. It allows prints to be checked for color consistency and metamerism immediately after completion. In addition to the printing industry, the light booth is used by advertising agencies, press outlets, and publishing houses, as well as wherever large formats require visual inspection. The positioning of the light on the light booth ensures optimal illumination of the desk and the back wall. This allows both a horizontal and a vertical surface to be used as a viewing plane. To monitor the lighting time of each of the three light types: daylight D75, D65, and D50, a separate operating hour counter with a reset function is provided. The LED bulbs require replacement only after 8,000 hours of operation. The light types can be switched on individually or as a mixed light. The four braked casters allow for flexible use of the light booth at different locations. Metamerism in general refers to the fact that the same colors can look different when exposed to different lighting or different positioning.
