The CNY66, CNY65, and CNY66 series optocouplers from Telefunken consist of a phototransistor optically coupled to a gallium arsenide infrared-emitting diode. These components are housed in a 4-pin plastic package, with single components mounted opposite each other to provide a distance between input and output greater than 3 mm, meeting high safety requirements.
Key features include a rated recurring peak voltage (VIORM) of 1450 Vpeak and a thickness through insulation of ≥ 3 mm.
