CMX469AD3

The CML Microcircuits CMX469AD3 is a versatile single-chip CMOS LSI circuit functioning as a full-duplex FFSK/MSK modem. It offers pin-selectable data rates of 1200, 2400, or 4800 Baud, catering to various communication needs.

The device operates over a wide supply voltage range of 2.7V to 5.5V and features low power consumption, typically 2.0mA at 3.0V. It includes on-chip circuitry for carrier detect and receiver clock recovery, with outputs made available on pins. The modem supports selectable crystal or clock inputs of 1.008MHz or 4.032MHz, providing flexibility in baud rate and frequency generation.

Designed for applications such as data-over-radio, personal/cordless telephones, and portable data terminals, the CMX469AD3 requires few external components. It is available in a 20-SOIC package suitable for surface mounting, optimizing board space and integration.
