The CMOZ10V TR PBFREE is a surface mount silicon zener diode from Central Semiconductor Corp, part of the CMOZ2V4-CMOZ43V series. It provides a nominal zener voltage of 10V with ±5% tolerance, tested at 5mA. The device offers maximum power dissipation of 300mW on FR-4 epoxy PC board with 4.0mm² copper pad area at 25°C, with alternative ratings of 350mW on ceramic or aluminum core boards and 250mW on FR-4 with smaller pad area.
Electrical characteristics include a maximum zener impedance of 20Ω at 5mA, low reverse leakage current of 0.2μA at 7V, and a forward voltage of 0.9V maximum at 10mA. The diode operates over a junction temperature range of -65°C to 150°C, with a thermal resistance of 417°C/W.
The device is packaged in the ultra-miniature SOD-523 case, suitable for high-density surface mount applications. It is RoHS3 compliant and lead-free (PBFREE). Typical applications include voltage regulation, overvoltage protection, and reference voltage generation in portable and power management circuits.
