CM3202-00DE

The ON Semiconductor CM3202-00DE is a dual-output low-noise linear regulator specifically designed to meet SSTL-2 and SSTL-3 specifications for DDR-SDRAM VDDQ and VTT supply voltages. This device integrates power MOSFETs, enabling it to source up to 2 A of VDDQ continuous current and source or sink up to 2 A of VTT continuous current.

Key electrical characteristics include an adjustable VDDQ output voltage ranging from 1.7 V to 2.8 V, with a typical VDDQ dropout voltage of 500 mV at a 2 A load. The VTT output tracks at 50% of VDDQ. The regulator provides excellent load and line regulation, low noise, and fast transient response, making it suitable for demanding memory applications.

Packaged in an 8-WDFN (3x3) with an exposed pad, the CM3202-00DE is designed for surface mounting. It operates reliably over an industrial ambient temperature range of -40°C to 85°C. The device includes built-in over-current limits and thermal shutdown protection for both VDDQ and VTT outputs, enhancing system reliability. It also supports Suspend-To-RAM (STR) and ACPI compliance through a shutdown mode that minimizes quiescent system current.
