The CM2009-00QR is a VGA port companion circuit designed by On Semiconductor. It connects between a video graphics controller and a VGA or DVI-I port connector, integrating ESD protection, DDC level shifting, and SYNC signal buffering.
The device features a reverse standoff voltage of 6 V and provides ESD protection compliant with IEC 61000-4-2 Level 4, with ±8 kV contact discharge capability when the QSOP16 C is present. It includes 7 ESD protection channels and a typical sync line termination resistance of 65 Ω.
Separate positive supply rails for VIDEO, DDC, and SYNC channels allow interfacing with low-voltage video controllers. The non-inverting SYNC drivers accept TTL inputs and convert to CMOS output levels swinging between ground and VCC_SYNC, typically 5 V.
The device is available in a 16-QSOP surface mount package (16-SSOP, 0.154" width, 3.90mm width). It is supplied in tape and reel packaging with a standard quantity of 2500 pieces.
