The CM1457-08CP is an inductor-based L-C EMI filter array with ESD protection, integrating eight filters in a CSP form factor with 0.40 mm pitch. Each channel is implemented with component values of 6pF − 35nH – 4.7pF − 35nH – 1.8pF, providing a total inductance of 70 nH and total capacitance of 12.5 pF per channel. The -3 dB cutoff frequency is 300 MHz, and the filter provides greater than -35 dB attenuation over the 800 MHz to 2.7 GHz frequency range, supporting data rates as high as 160 Mbps.
The device includes ESD diodes on every I/O pin, providing ±15 kV protection per IEC 61000-4-2 contact discharge on external pins. It is particularly well suited for wireless handsets, mobile LCD modules, and PDAs, ideal for EMI filtering and protecting data and control lines for LCD display and camera interfaces in mobile handsets.
The CM1457-08CP is packaged in a 20-bump WLCSP (Case 567BV) with 0.40 mm pitch and 0.25 mm solder balls, offering significant board space savings. Dimensions are 3.27 mm x 1.05 mm x 0.69 mm. It operates over -40°C to 85°C and is RoHS3 compliant and Pb-Free.
