The CM1293A-02SR is a 2-channel low capacitance ESD protection array from On Semiconductor. It is designed to protect high-speed data ports such as USB 2.0, IEEE1394, Serial ATA, DVI, and HDMI. Each channel consists of a pair of steering diodes to the supply rails, with an integrated Zener diode for supply rail protection. The device offers ESD protection up to ±8 kV contact discharge per IEC 61000-4-2 Level 4. Key electrical specifications include a low clamping voltage of 9.9V typical, a peak pulse current of 1A (8/20µs), and a low input capacitance of 2.0 pF max. It can withstand over 1000 ESD strikes at level 4. The device is available in a surface mount SOT-143 package (TO-253-4, TO-253AA) and is Pb-free and RoHS compliant.
