The CM1235-08DE is a small footprint ESD clamp array from On Semiconductor designed for high speed data line protection. It features 8 unidirectional channels configured as 4 differential pairs, each with 100 Ω matched impedance. This device offers ESD protection to IEC61000-4-2 Level 4 at ±8 kV contact discharge and handles EFT per IEC61000-4-4 at 40 A (5/50 ns) as well as lightning per IEC61000-4-5 at 3.5 A (8/20 µs).
With a peak pulse current rating of 1 A (8/20 µs) and a typical clamping voltage of 9.2 V, the CM1235-08DE is suited for general purpose applications requiring low capacitive loading. The steering (rail-to-rail) topology ensures controlled signal skew with channel-to-channel matching within 2% max deviation.
The device is offered in a 16-WFDFN exposed pad package with supplier device package 16-WDFN (4x1.7 mm). It supports surface mount mounting and operates over a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C.
