The CM1230-J2CP is a low-capacitance ESD protection diode array from On Semiconductor, part of the CM1230 family. It features two unidirectional channels configured as steering (rail-to-rail) diodes, ideal for protecting high-speed data lines. The device offers a typical clamping voltage of 9.8V and a reverse standoff voltage of 3.3V. With an ultra-low loading capacitance of 0.8 pF typical and matched capacitance difference of 0.02 pF, it is suitable for differential signal pairs. The array meets IEC 61000-4-2 Level 4 ESD protection with ±8 kV contact and ±15 kV air discharge ratings, and exceeds ±15 kV HBM per MIL-STD-883. The device is packaged in a space-saving 4-WLCSP (0.96x0.96 mm) with solder bumps, supporting surface mount assembly. It is RoHS3 compliant and lead-free, with an MSL rating of 1 (unlimited). The OptiGuard/C0116 coating improves reliability during assembly.
