The CM1213A-04SO is a 4-channel steering-type TVS diode array designed to protect electronic circuits from electrostatic discharge (ESD) events. It provides ESD protection up to ±8kV contact discharge per IEC 61000-4-2 Level 4, ensuring robust protection for sensitive components.
Key electrical specifications include a reverse standoff voltage of 3.3V, typical clamping voltage of 10V at 1A peak pulse current (8/20µs), and an ultra-low typical input capacitance of 0.85pF per channel with capacitance matching of 0.02pF. These low capacitance characteristics make it ideal for high-speed data interfaces such as USB 2.0, HDMI, DVI, and Firewire.
The device integrates a Zener diode between the positive and negative supply rails to protect the VCC rail without requiring an external bypass capacitor. It supports power line protection and operates over a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C.
