The Samtec CLP-102-02-L-D-TR is a 4-position (2x2) dual row receptacle from the CLP series, designed for high-density board-to-board interconnects. It features a 1.27mm (0.050") pitch and a low profile insulation height of 2.14mm, making it suitable for compact electronic assemblies.
Electrical ratings include 3.4A per pin (with 2 pins powered) and a voltage rating of 280 VAC / 395 VDC. The operating temperature range spans -55°C to +125°C. Contacts are phosphor bronze with 10 µ" (0.25 µm) gold plating on the contact area and matte tin on the tails, ensuring reliable mating and solderability.
This receptacle is surface mount with solder termination and is packaged in tape and reel (indicated by the -TR suffix). It is lead-free solderable, RoHS3 compliant, REACH unaffected, and has an MSL of 1 (unlimited). The insulator is black liquid crystal polymer with UL94 V-0 flammability rating.
Typical applications include board-to-board stacking, high-density interconnect systems, industrial control modules, and test equipment. The push-pull fastening type and dual wipe socket design provide secure connections with up to 100 mating cycles when using 10 µ" gold plating.
