The Ferroxcube CLI-ETD34 is an ETD34 core set designed for various electronic applications. It offers an effective volume of 7640 mm³, an effective length of 78.6 mm, and an effective area of 97.1 mm².
The core set includes specifications for clamping force and mass of the core half. It is available in different grades with varying AL values and permeabilities, such as 3C30, 3C85, 3C90, and 3F3. Core loss data is provided at different frequencies and magnetic flux densities.
This product utilizes a coil former made from Polybutyleneterephtalate (PBT), which is glass-reinforced and flame retardant, meeting UL 94V-0 standards. The pin material is a copper-tin alloy plated with tin-lead alloy. The maximum operating temperature for the coil former is 155 °C (IEC 85 Class F).
Additionally, a 7-pin coaxial ETD34 coil former is available, made from phenolformaldehyde (PF) and glass-reinforced, also flame retardant to UL 94V-0. This variant has a maximum operating temperature of 180 °C (IEC 85 Class H). Both coil formers meet resistance to soldering heat and solderability standards.
