The Samsung CL05B102KB5NNNC is a multi-layer ceramic capacitor (MLCC) with a capacitance of 1000 pF, rated voltage of 50V, and X7R temperature coefficient. It is housed in a compact 0402 (1005 metric) package suitable for surface mount assembly.
The capacitor offers a tolerance of ±10% and a dissipation factor (DF) of 0.025 max at 1kHz. Insulation resistance is 10000 MΩ min, and it can withstand 125V (250% of rated voltage). The X7R dielectric provides stable capacitance over -55°C to +125°C with a capacitance change of ±15% over temperature.
The component measures 1.00mm x 0.50mm x 0.55mm max. Termination is Cu/Ni/Sn (100% Sn) with a termination width of 0.25mm. It is designed for reflow soldering with a peak temperature of 260°C. The part is supplied on cardboard tape and reel (7" reel) with a standard quantity of 10,000 pieces per reel.
Typical applications include bypass, decoupling, and filtering in general purpose electronic circuits. The X7R characteristic makes it suitable for timing and coupling circuits where moderate temperature stability is required.
