Comchip Technology CGRC304-G is a general purpose rectifier diode designed for surface mount applications. It features a maximum repetitive peak reverse voltage of 400V and an average forward current of 3.0A. The device is capable of handling a peak forward surge current of 100A (8.3ms single half sine-wave). Its maximum forward voltage drop is 1.1V at 3A forward current.
The rectifier is housed in a JEDEC DO-214AB (SMC) molded plastic case with solderable terminals per MIL-STD-750. The package is designed for easy pick and place assembly and includes a built-in strain relief. Thermal resistance from junction to ambient is 50°C/W when mounted on a PCB with 5.0x5.0mm land area. Operating junction temperature range is -55°C to +150°C.
