The Littelfuse CG32.7LTR is a two-electrode gas discharge tube (GDT) designed for surge protection and high isolation applications. It features a DC breakdown voltage of 2160V min, 2700V typical, and 3240V max at a ramp rate of 100V/s. The impulse breakdown voltage is 3600V max at 100V/µs and 4000V max at 1kV/µs. With a nominal impulse discharge current of 5 kA (8/20µs, 10 shots) and a maximum surge current of 10 kA (8/20µs, 1 shot), this GDT can handle significant transient events. The device maintains a low capacitance of less than 1.5 pF at 1 MHz, making it suitable for high-frequency signal lines. It offers a high insulation resistance of 10 GΩ minimum at 100V and has a typical arc voltage of approximately 25V at 1A. The CG32.7LTR can extinguish follow-on currents up to 200A. The component comes in a through hole axial cylinder package and is available in tape and reel packaging. It is RoHS3 compliant and rated MSL 1.
The DC breakdown voltage is 2160V minimum, 2700V typical, and 3240V maximum at a ramp rate of 100V/s.
The nominal impulse discharge current is 5 kA (8/20µs, 10 shots) and the maximum surge current is 10 kA (8/20µs, 1 shot).
It uses an axial cylinder package with through hole mounting.
It is marked as RoHS3 compliant, but this has not been independently verified.
