The Bourns CG0603MLU-24E is a member of the ChipGuard MLU series of ESD protectors designed to safeguard sensitive electronic circuits from electrostatic discharge (ESD) events. It offers a continuous operating voltage of 24 V DC and provides clamping at a typical 25 V with a response time under 1 ns.
This device features an ultra-low maximum capacitance of 0.05 pF at 1 MHz, making it suitable for high-speed data lines such as USB 3.0, HDMI 1.4, and DVI where signal integrity is critical. Leakage current is a maximum of 5 nA at the rated DC voltage.
The CG0603MLU-24E meets IEC 61000-4-2 Level 4 ESD protection, with a minimum ±8 kV contact discharge and ±15 kV air discharge performance. It is housed in a standard 0603 (1608 metric) surface mount package and is RoHS compliant.
