The Bourns CG0603MLE-18E is a ChipGuard MLE series varistor ESD clamp protector designed for surface mount applications. It provides high frequency attenuation and ESD suppression in a single device, compliant with IEC 61000-4-2 standards.
This varistor has a maximum DC operating voltage of 18 V and maximum AC voltage of 8.5 V. The clamping voltage is 60 V at 1 A (8/20 µs). It can handle peak surge currents of 20 A (8/20 µs) and 45 A at 8 kV. Off-state leakage current is 10 µA maximum. Capacitance is 50 pF typical at 1 MHz. Response time is less than 1 ns.
