The Igus chainflex® CF140.UL series control cable, specifically the CF140.10.04.UL model, is engineered for reliable performance in medium duty applications. This cable construction includes a pressure-extruded PVC outer jacket, providing durability and resistance to environmental factors. Internally, it features a bending-resistant braiding made of tinned copper wires for effective shielding, with approximately 55% linear and 80% optical coverage.

The core insulation is made from a mechanically high-quality TPE mixture, ensuring good performance. Conductors are finely stranded bare copper wires compliant with DIN EN 60228. For cables with 0.5 mm² or larger cores, identification is achieved through black cores with white numbers, plus a green-yellow core. The cable is designed with a low-torsion structure for enhanced flexibility and longevity in dynamic applications.

This control cable carries a voltage rating of 300V and is flame retardant, meeting industry standards for safety. The outer jacket is silver-grey, similar to RAL 7001, and is printed in black. Additionally, it incorporates the CFRIP® tear strip feature, designed to facilitate faster cable stripping during installation and maintenance.
