The CEFB204-G is a fast recovery rectifier diode from Comchip Technology, rated for a maximum repetitive peak reverse voltage of 400V and an average forward current of 2A. It offers a maximum forward voltage drop of 1.1V at 2A and a fast reverse recovery time of 35 ns. The diode can withstand a peak forward surge current of 35A for an 8.3ms single half sine-wave. The device is designed for surface mount applications and is packaged in a JEDEC DO-214AA (SMB) molded plastic case. It features a built-in strain relief and solderable terminals per MIL-STD-750, method 2026. The polarity is indicated by a color band on the cathode end. The operating junction temperature range is -55°C to 150°C, with a thermal resistance from junction to lead of 35°C/W when mounted on a PCB with an 8.0×8.0 mm copper pad area. This diode is suitable for general purpose rectification and high efficiency applications requiring fast switching. Its compact surface mount package enables easy pick-and-place assembly.
