The Bourns CDWBS16-PLC01-6 is a bidirectional TVS diode array designed to protect sensitive electronics from voltage transients. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 6V and a minimum breakdown voltage of 8V at 1mA. The device provides clamping voltages of 15V and 16V under different impulse conditions, ensuring robust protection. With a peak pulse power rating of 1500W (10/1000µs waveform), it can handle high surge currents.
This TVS diode array offers ESD protection up to ±8kV contact and ±15kV air discharge per IEC 61000-4-2, and surge protection per IEC 61000-4-5, Telcordia GR1089, and FCC Part 68. Typical capacitance is 50pF at 1MHz, making it suitable for high-speed data lines. The device is RoHS3 compliant and has an operating temperature range of -55°C to 150°C.
The CDWBS16-PLC01-6 is housed in a 16-SOIC surface mount package with a 7.50mm width. It is intended for use in Ethernet, telecom, and other communication interfaces. The part is currently available but not recommended for new designs, per the manufacturer.
