The Bourns CDSOT23-T12C is a bidirectional transient voltage suppressor (TVS) diode designed to protect sensitive electronics from voltage transients and ESD events. This device features a 12V maximum reverse standoff voltage and a minimum breakdown voltage of 13.3V at 1mA. It provides a maximum clamping voltage of 25.9V when subjected to a 21A peak pulse current (8/20µs waveform), delivering 500W of peak pulse power.
Meeting IEC 61000-4-2 ESD requirements, the CDSOT23-T12C withstands contact discharge of 8kV and air discharge of 15kV, with a maximum capability of 30kV for both. The typical capacitance is 90pF at 0V and 1MHz, making it suitable for high-speed signal line protection. Maximum leakage current at the working voltage is only 2µA, ensuring minimal power loss.
Packaged in a compact SOT23-3 surface mount format, the device operates over a temperature range of -55°C to 150°C.
