The Bourns CDSOT23-T05C is a bidirectional transient voltage suppressor (TVS) diode array designed for surge and ESD protection in portable electronics. It features a maximum working peak voltage of 5V and a minimum breakdown voltage of 6V at 1 mA. The device clamps transient overvoltages to a maximum of 13.5V when subjected to an 8/20 µs surge current of 42A, with a peak pulse power rating of 500W.
This TVS diode provides IEC 61000-4-2 ESD protection up to ±30kV contact and ±30kV air discharge, making it suitable for protecting sensitive I/O lines. It offers a typical capacitance of 210pF at 0V and 1 MHz, and a maximum leakage current of 2µA at the working voltage.
The CDSOT23-T05C is supplied in a surface mount SOT-23-3 package (also known as TO-236-3 or SC-59) and supports an operating temperature range of -55°C to +150°C. It is RoHS compliant and suitable for general purpose circuit protection applications.
