The Bourns CDSOD323-T24C is a bidirectional Zener transient voltage suppressor (TVS) diode designed to protect sensitive electronics from electrostatic discharge (ESD) and other voltage transients. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 24 V and a minimum breakdown voltage of 26.7 V at 1 mA. The device clamps transient voltages to a maximum of 43 V at 1 A, with a typical clamping voltage of 56 V at a peak pulse current of 6 A (8/20 µs waveform).
With a peak pulse power rating of 350 W (8/20 µs) and a low typical capacitance of 3 pF at 0 V and 1 MHz, this TVS diode is well-suited for high-speed data lines and I/O port protection. It operates over a junction temperature range of -55°C to +150°C and is supplied in a surface-mount SOD-323 package (SC-76 case style), making it compatible with standard pick-and-place assembly processes.
The CDSOD323-T24C is RoHS compliant and lead-free, supporting general-purpose circuit protection applications such as cellular phones, PDAs, digital cameras, MP3 players, GPS devices, and USB interfaces.
