The Bourns CDSOD323-T12LC is a bidirectional TVS diode designed for ESD and surge protection in high-speed data interfaces. It features a working peak voltage of 12.0 V, minimum breakdown voltage of 13.3 V at 1 mA, and maximum clamping voltage of 19.0 V at 1 A. Typical clamping voltage at 8/20 µs and peak pulse current is 28.6 V. The device offers 350 W peak pulse power capability (8/20 µs) and can handle up to 11 A peak pulse current.
ESD protection meets IEC 61000-4-2 standards with ±8 kV (minimum) and ±30 kV (maximum) contact discharge, and ±15 kV (minimum) and ±30 kV (maximum) air discharge. Typical capacitance is only 1.0 pF at 0 V and 1 MHz, making it suitable for high-speed signal lines such as HDMI and USB OTG. Maximum leakage current at working voltage is 1 µA.
The device is surface mount in a SOD-323 package (also known as SC-76) and operates over -55°C to +150°C junction temperature range. It is RoHS compliant and lead free.
