The Bourns CDSOD323-T12L is a unidirectional transient voltage suppressor (TVS) diode designed for ESD and surge protection in high-speed data lines. It features a working peak voltage of 12V, a minimum breakdown voltage of 13.3V at 1mA, and a maximum clamping voltage of 19V at 1A. Under typical 8/20µs surge conditions at 11A, the clamping voltage is 28.6V. The device can handle 350W of peak pulse power (8/20µs waveform).
With an ultra-low typical capacitance of 1pF at 0V and 1MHz, this diode is suitable for protecting high-frequency interfaces such as HDMI 1.4, DVI, USB 3.0, and memory ports. It provides ESD protection up to ±30kV contact and air discharge per IEC 61000-4-2, exceeding the requirements of many consumer and industrial applications.
The CDSOD323-T12L is housed in a surface-mount SOD-323 (SC-76) package, making it compatible with standard pick-and-place assembly. It operates over a temperature range of -55°C to 150°C and is RoHS compliant and lead-free.
