The Bourns CDSOD323-T08L is a unidirectional Zener TVS diode designed for transient voltage suppression. It features a working peak voltage of 8V and a minimum breakdown voltage of 8.5V at 1mA. The device provides clamping at 13.4V (max at 1A) and typical clamping of 18.3V at peak pulse current. With a peak pulse power rating of 350W (8/20µs), it offers robust protection.
The diode offers ESD protection up to ±30kV contact and ±30kV air discharge per IEC 61000-4-2, making it suitable for high-speed data lines. Its low capacitance of 1pF (typical at 0V, 1MHz) minimizes signal degradation. Maximum leakage current is 2µA at working voltage.
The device is housed in a surface-mount SOD-323 package (SC-76 case) and operates over a temperature range of -55°C to 150°C. It is RoHS compliant and lead-free. Applications include HDMI 1.4, USB OTG, DVI, memory protection, and SIM card ports.
