The Bourns CDSOD323-T08 is a unidirectional transient voltage suppression (TVS) diode designed for protecting sensitive electronics from electrostatic discharge (ESD) and surge events. With a working peak voltage of 8 V and a minimum breakdown voltage of 8.5 V at 1 mA, it provides reliable clamping action. The maximum clamping voltage is 13.4 V at 1 A, and the typical clamping voltage reaches 18.5 V at 17 A under an 8/20 µs waveform. The device handles a peak pulse current of 17 A and a peak pulse power of 350 W for the same waveform.
The CDSOD323-T08 features a low typical capacitance of 3 pF at 1 MHz, making it suitable for high-speed I/O and data line protection without signal degradation. It operates over a wide temperature range of -55°C to 150°C and is packaged in a compact SOD-323 (SC-76) surface mount package, compatible with standard pick-and-place assembly.
This TVS diode is RoHS compliant and lead free, meeting environmental standards. It is intended for general-purpose circuit protection applications such as cellular phones, PDAs, digital cameras, MP3 players, and USB interfaces.
