The Bourns CDSOD323-T05SC is a bidirectional transient voltage suppressor (TVS) diode designed for ESD and surge protection in portable electronics. It features a working peak voltage of 5.0 V and a minimum breakdown voltage of 6.0 V at 1 mA. The device provides a typical clamping voltage of 14.5 V at 28 A peak pulse current (8/20 µs waveform) and can handle 400 W of peak pulse power. ESD protection meets IEC 61000-4-2 standards with contact discharge ratings of ±8 kV (minimum) to ±30 kV (maximum) and air discharge ratings of ±15 kV (minimum) to ±30 kV (maximum).
