The Bourns CDSOD323-T05C is a bidirectional transient voltage suppressor (TVS) diode designed to protect sensitive electronics from electrostatic discharge (ESD) and other voltage transients. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 5.0V and a minimum breakdown voltage of 6.0V at 1mA. The device provides a typical clamping voltage of 18.3V at a peak pulse current of 17A (8/20µs waveform) and can handle 350W of peak pulse power.
This TVS diode is housed in a compact, surface-mount SOD-323 package (SC-76), making it suitable for space-constrained designs. It operates over a junction temperature range of -55°C to +150°C. The part is RoHS compliant and lead-free.
Typical applications include ESD protection for cellular phones, PDAs, notebooks, digital cameras, MP3 players, GPS devices, and USB interfaces. The bidirectional configuration allows protection of lines that carry both positive and negative signals.
The reverse standoff voltage (working peak voltage) is 5.0V.
The typical clamping voltage is 18.3V at 17A (8/20µs), and the maximum clamping voltage at 1A is 9.8V.
The peak pulse power is 350W (tp=8/20µs).
It is available in a surface-mount SC-76, SOD-323 package.
The operating junction temperature range is -55°C to +150°C.
Yes, it is RoHS3 compliant and lead-free according to the datasheet.
