It meets IEC 61000-4-2 (ESD) with ±15 kV air discharge and ±8 kV contact discharge, IEC 61000-4-4 (EFT) with 40 A protection, and IEC 61000-4-5 (Surge) with 12 A protection.

 

This device features a working peak reverse voltage of 5 V and a minimum breakdown voltage of 6.0 V at 1 mA. The maximum clamping voltage is 9.8 V at 1 A and 18 V at a peak pulse current of 17 A (8/20 μs). Peak pulse power is rated at 350 W (8/20 μs). Maximum leakage current at 5 V is 20 μA, and maximum junction capacitance is 120 pF at 0 V and 1 MHz.

 

The CDNBS08-SMDA05-6 can protect six unidirectional lines or five bidirectional lines. It is housed in a surface-mount 8-SOIC package (JEDEC SO-8) with a 100% Sn termination finish and UL 94V-0 flammability rating. The operating temperature range is -55°C to 150°C.
