The CDNBS08-PLC03-6 from Bourns is a steering diode and transient voltage suppressor (TVS) array combination device. It provides surge and ESD protection for two unidirectional lines in a compact 8-lead SOIC package. Key electrical specifications include a working peak voltage of 6V, a minimum breakdown voltage of 6.8V at 1mA, and a maximum clamping voltage of 20V at 100A (8/20µs waveform). The device can handle peak pulse power up to 2000W (8/20µs) and peak pulse current of 100A.
For ESD protection, the CDNBS08-PLC03-6 meets IEC 61000-4-2 standards with contact discharge protection of ±8kV and air discharge protection of ±15kV, with a maximum rating of ±30kV.
