The CDLL4102 is a Zener diode from Microchip Technology (formerly Microsemi) designed for voltage regulation applications. It features a nominal Zener voltage of 8.7V with ±5% tolerance, and a maximum power dissipation of 500mW at +125°C case temperature, derating 10mW/°C above that. The device operates over a junction temperature range of -65°C to +175°C.
Electrical characteristics include a Zener test current of 250 µA, maximum Zener impedance of 200 Ω at that current, and a maximum reverse leakage current of 1 µA at 6.61V. The forward voltage is 1.1V maximum at 200 mA. The maximum Zener current is 44 mA.
The diode is housed in a hermetically sealed glass DO-213AA (MELF) package, with tin/lead finish. It is surface mountable and has a cathode band polarity marking. Thermal resistance from junction to case is 100°C/W maximum, and thermal impedance is 35°C/W maximum.
This part is suitable for low current voltage reference and clamping circuits. It is available in JAN, JANTX, JANTXV, and JANS versions per MIL-PRF-19500/435.
